How to Define and Definitive Purpose
How to Define your Definitive Purpose
In today’s video, I will be sharing the 3 ways to define your purpose.
How I defined my Purpose.
After only a couple of years in the martial arts, I found that the feelings of empowerment that I had received, the transcendence I was able to experience, made me feel better than I had ever in my life.
I quickly realized that by helping others with their tests, learning new techniques, and reaching their goals, and more – I started to see the changes in them and that further changed how I felt.
Through my love for helping others, I changed as a result.
Eventually, I learned that the actual word “Samurai” is a literal translation of the English word, service. In the Japanese perspective, “they were those who served”. At that moment I realized that it was my job to serve those around me by bringing them along with me on my path.
The more the better.
Then that’s when it hit me like a ton of bricks, my PURPOSE is YOU!
I get far more gratification from helping those thru service than simply demonstrating ‘what I know’ which makes zero difference if it has no impact on YOU!
Discovering this was a truly wonderful journey and experience. I then began instructing in 2004, and I’ve never stopped being a Sensei since that time.
Here’s how you’re going to define your purpose.
There are Three Ways to Define Your Purpose:
- Write down what you are most passionate about in life.
- Write down what you believe your purpose is.
- Ask 5 People to review and if they agree with your Synopsis.
DM me if you need any help with this project. I don’t care if you’re a past student, never been a student, are a struggling student, a parent of a student, or anything else.
Remember this is my purpose 😉
